Donate to WVMO before 2025 ends

The home of Polka Time with DJ Shotski is the award-winning WVMO-FM in the city of Monona, Wisconsin. The station’s nonprofit board, the Friends of WVMO, helped to make a big investment in equipment and software upgrades. But now we have an $8K hole in our bank account.

I figured out that if every person who opens my Substack emails or reads this post donates $20-25, we’d make that money back!

Here’s the plan. Donate to WVMO through Venmo or by check. In the “what’s this for?” box or the memo line on your check, write something like “for the love of polka” or “because I listen to Polka Time.” I won’t see your check or your donation, but our treasurer will.

Make a check payable to “Friends of WVMO” and mail it to: Friends of WVMO, 5211 Schluter Road, Monona, WI 53716 or give via Venmo.
